Fun Place with Great Food

Posted by MarvB on 8/15/2009

This is one of those tucked away places that you end up finding on the last day of your vacation and say "i wish we had found this place sooner!" They have a great ocean/sunset view, asgood you will find anywhere, the staff is very friendly and the food is awesome. The menu has something for everyone including fresh fish, salads and sandwiches but what realy sets them apart is their BBQ. The brisket and pulled pork are "to die for!" They smoke all there own meats and man do they have it down!!! Great happy hour and live music every night. A definite must try!!!!

Fun Place to Eat & Drink!

Discovered this place after going to the Aquarium, which by the way was great and ended up going back three more times. My wife fell in love with their fish & chips and I couldn't get enough of there BBQ ribs! They are smoked on this enourmous smoker they had shipped out from the mainland (just ask someone about while you're there and you'll get a full tour...they are very proud of it!) They also have a full kids menu or keikis as they say in Hawaii and are served on a take home "Beach Bums" frisbee which the kids loved and we thought was very clever and unique. The service was extremely friendly and the servers ended being our personal concierges giving us information on all kinds of activities and places to go. Thanks Abbey or Abalama as they call her as she hails from Alabama and has the sweetest southewrn accent. Peter & Carol Jenkins Long Beach, CA

BBQ on Maui

Posted by aloharon on 7/13/2008

Been looking for good BBQ on Maui and stumbled in to Beach Bums after a snorkel trip. The pulled pork was amazing the sauces were home made. (the hot was the best) The coleslaw had pineapple in it and was great. My wife loved their fish tacos with mango tartar. Topped it off with fresh baked pineapple cobbler. Prices were good for Maui and good happy hour too.
