Description:

The Bailey House Museum, built on the site of the residence of the Kaheliki, the last ruling king of Hawaii, is today a showcase for the paintings of local artist Edward Bailey. The museum is located in the eastern part of the city, just north of the Wailuku Elementary School Park. The painter actually resided in the house with his family, from 1847 until his death in 1888.
